Roleplaying Basics:


The roleplaying basics are rules that affect how you roleplay.

- Use third person perspective.   He/she/they,  not I/me/we.  And stick to the past tense.
- You can't be in more than 1 place at once (Unless you can).  But you aren't limited to RPing only in 1 time.  You may structure your posts' chronologically to get around it,  having one topic in the past,  one in the present,  and so on.   Please stick to only a few active topics and try to be timely.
- Posts need to be a minimum of 250 words,  with a 50 word leeway.  This is the minimum,  not a target everyone should try to build around.  There is no maximum word count,  but try to top off at 1,500,   5,000 for initiating (First post in the topic) posts.
- In line with that, please be as descriptive as you can!  Be creative and have fun with it!  Keyword Rainbows!
- Do NOT use knowledge your character would not be able to possess.  That is metagaming.  Using divination to divine the actions of someone or otherwise gain said knowledge in an IC manner is NOT metagame.
- Do NOT control the actions of characters you do not possess.  This includes pets,  summons or named NPCs another player introduced without their OK.
- Do NOT make your character perform their own actions that are outside their capability.  A scholarly old guy without any affinity for speed and agility is hardly going to avoid a large AoE without some powers of his own.
- Please do not do anything overly graphic,  including over the top violence with detailed gore,  and don't let passion take you either;  No describing "Private" areas of the body or detailing erotic (Or overly sensual) acts.


- Designate topics you make with either [OPEN] to indicate anyone may join,  [CLOSED] To indicate only those you may invite can join.   [SOCIAL] to indicate that no violence is to occur (This includes on your parts).  If Social is not designated,  anyone may initiate combat... And death CAN occur (However unlikely).

- This is a FANTASY roleplay with a blend of modern elements.  There are no trains or cell phones,  no cars and no "skyscrapers".   Try to stick to the theme.   The only modern elements are what can be replicated by magic by the gods who have seen the modern world if they cared enough to.  Meaning you may see some modern fashion that caught on because that-one-god wore it.  You might find doctors,  due to a god of healing setting up hospitals.   You might find magical means that mimic the functionality of a phone,   or so on.
